Never having renovated before, it was important for my wife and I to engage a builder that not only embraced our designs and concepts, but a builder that would work with us in a consultative manner to ensure we achieved our dream home for our family. Before meeting with Andy Martin and the AM Precision Builders Pty Ltd team, Renee and I had interviewed five other builders. It was not until we were introduced to Andy that we felt that we had found a builder with the same level of passion for our 1929 Californian Bungalow and our vision for what became a major extension and renovation. From the initial discussions and throughout the entire build, nothing was an issue for the AM Precision Builders Pty Ltd team.
From minor changes along the way, to the introduction of a pool half way through the build, to conceptualising and creating architectural shaped skylights, a wine storage feature that evolved from chimney bricks and an inbuilt gas fireplace and mantle not provided for in the initial drawings. Andy continued to work with us with a high level of pride and passion for our build/renovation, the same pride and passion that Renee and I had for our project. He and his team continued to meet and exceed our expectations, find solutions to our requests and provide suggestions to continually improve and enhance our ideas. Being somewhat fastidious clients, Andy and the team never disappointed Renee and I.
They always went above and beyond at every point and no request was received negatively by them. We are forever grateful for what AM Precision Builders Pty Ltd have done for us. We have a beautiful home for our family where memories will be created. A home renovated and extended on the foundations of a period home encapsulating the character and style of the 1920’s with a fresh Hamptons interior. Andy and the team helped create not only our dream home, but a home that won the best renovation/extension for its category, won best outdoor area and achieved runner up in best kitchen and bathrooms in the Victorian HIA awards.
Additionally, our home was finalist in the HIA National Awards for best outdoor area. Renee and I strongly believe that all of this was achieved via the partnering with AM Precision Builders Pty Ltd, a team dedicated to our vision as much as we were.
